We plant in 7 provinces of the Argentine Republic a surface of 15.000 hectares annually -equivalent to 37.000 acres- assuring this way a constant supply of product all the year round and its consistency in quality through a strategy of diversification of risk by geographic regions and productive areas.

We are even going further deep by using in some of fields the new techniques of precision agriculture, mapping them by their fertility, water depth and soil harness, and planting just in the right places with the exact amounts of fertilizers and agrochemicals.
Our engineers are specialized in each of the crops we plant and they are in charge of controlling every step of the process, from planting to delivery at plant. Due to that, they become the main and first part of our quality assurance chain.

Research and Genetics:

 

 

 

 

 

With the idea of being at the forefront of the international trend in terms of shape and product quality, we regularly perform comparative tests in our trial plots with national and imported hybrids brought from many different countries. Once it is determined which is the most suitable genetic material in both, irrigated and dry fields (field condition), we initiate its massive production. This testing process takes between 2 and 3 years.

Of those hybrids with proven resistance and strength we make our own increases by signing agreements with some USA seed companies. We even produce for them in counter season basis, so as to help with their seasonal supply.

Processing:

When talking about processing, we have 3 different facilities located as follows:

1. Confection sunflower seed –inshell- placed in Rancul town, province of La Pampa.
2. stripped Sunflower and Confection sunflower seed- sunflower kernels. PROCESSING PLANT GIRASOLES DEL SUR S.A.

3. Popcorn, located in Mariano Benitez, Buenos Aires province.

GIRASOLES DEL SUR S.A. is a part of the same group of shareholders that integrates GOALLIANZ S.R.L. It is an independent business unit, because it also processes sunflower seeds to other producers and exporters within the area. 

At the same time we outsource the processing of peas and beans in plants located
in the zone of Pergamino, province of Buenos Aires, and in the province of Salta.

The Inshell Confection Sunflower plant has a monthly processing capacity
of 1.100 tons, including in each of the two lines: pre-cleaning, sizing, density classification, rare earth extractor magnets and automated bagging lines.

The Popcorn processing plant has a monthly capacity of 5.200 tons through pre-cleaning machines, size graders, density sorters (gravity decks), rare earth extractor magnets and automated bagging lines.

Our newest Hulling plant has a capacity of 900 tons of monthly production and uses the last technologies available: sieve sizers, gravity decks, ¨Carter Day¨ drum graders, hullers, hulls aspirators and, at the end of the line, laser color sorters. The completion of the process is at the 2 way packing system, for small bags like 20 kg/50lb and/or big bags.

Production Contracts

We offer to our clients the option to produce their own product and acquire
the following benefits:

  • Define the processing parameters according to your specific requirements.
  • Produce ¨hard to find¨ varieties.
  • Have fresh product in counter season (mostly for the northern markets).

GEOALLIANZ has agronomists who will be advising and controlling from seed inoculation, planting, fertilizing, fumigation, harvesting and delivery to processing plant. We also provide the planting equipment –tilling or direct planting-, trucking and processing for your specific needs… with these we complete a 360° degrees farming-processing service designed to provide you a unique solution.

The contractual process includes the selection of the seed to be planted, required volumes of product and consequently the surface, price determination plus product delivery according a supply program.

You´ll receive the opportunity to visit the field as many times as needed, get a periodic report with the latest updates: evolution, applied chemicals, possible yields and pictures within other data. We´ll also provide you with the GPS location so as to visualize the field through the several satellite services available in the market.

In a nut shell, our service comprises:
